Philadelphia Phillies 2010 Spring Training

The Philadelphia Phillies hold their 2010 Spring Training in Clearwater, Florida. Philadelphia opens the Grapefruit League season -- their seventh at Bright House Field -- on March 3 with an exhibition game against Florida State University. Their first of 16 MLB home games in Clearwater starts when the Phillies host the New York Yankees, for the first of three pin-stripe appearances in Clearwater, on March 4. The other games are scheduled for the 17th and 22nd. The Yankees, Philadelphia's Spring Training rivals, host the Phillies March 8th and 26th. The Phillies play the World Champions a total of 5 times this season. As usual, the Phillies will finish up the spring with two On-Deck Series games at Citizens Bank Park on April 2nd and 3rd against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
